A very dear friend of mine is having her third baby any second so my next project is something for the new baby. I gave the previous two handmade keepsakes when they were born so I want to do the same for this one. It’s taken me a while to settle on an idea but I think I’m going to knit a blanket around the theme of the nursery rhyme, “The Cow Jumped Over The Moon”, and embroider the baby’s name and DOB on it somewhere. I’ve started working out letter sizes, as you can see, and I should be ready to cast on pretty soon.
P.S. My bridesmaid dress is done. Phew!
